ATM's and Money Matters
offer free WiFi for passengers once they have passed through security. You can take advantage of up to 60 minutes’ WiFi access in certain areas. These include Level 3 and 4 retail areas in the International Terminal, and Level 2 retail areas in the Domestic. Just select the BNE free service in your network settings and login for a total of 60 minutes’ free browsing over an 8-hour period. Airline lounges also have internet access, which is only available for those permitted to use the lounges.
Travelex has ATMs in the central areas of both the International and Domestic Terminals, where you can get Australian, New Zealand and US dollars, and Euro. There are also desks for those who want to exchange cash or talk to a real, live person. The International Terminal desks can be found on both levels 3 and 4 and are open 24 hours a day for all emergency currency needs! In the Domestic Terminal, the desk is located on level 2 between gates 22 and 23, opposite the food court. Check the Travelex website for details about the services they offer: www.travelex.com.au.
Freight and Cargo
There are a number of freight companies with yards and offices near Brisbane airport, including Seabridge, Schenker, DHL and Toll Air. Qantas Freight Terminal handles ground services for Qantas, Jetstar and other carriers arriving to Brisbane.
Lost and Found
Lost something? If you’re in the International Terminal, ask at the Information Desk on Level 2 and the friendly staff will try to track it down. For the domestic terminals, there are numbers to call- Qantas Terminal +61 7 3867 3264, Virgin Blue Terminal +61 7 3114 8150 or Jetstar (Common User Terminal) +61 7 3305 9233. If your checked baggage has gone missing, you will need to contact the airline responsible.
All airline service desks can provide first aid.
